Dental
Basket Stuffers for Holiday
When it comes to Holiday basket stuffers, just
about anything goes if it’s small enough to fit in the basket. You’ll often
find a bed of fake grass, an abundance of candies, a few eggs with things
hidden inside, and often plush toys, clothes, video games, and anything else
you can think of. More and more, parents are starting to branch out and include
more unique items in Holiday baskets.
But sometimes it’s nice to sneak some truly
useful items in baskets, especially when they fit.
So what about dental things? Major holidays are
a great time to update your family’s toothbrushes, floss, and anything else.
Even if they don’t care too much about it, at least it’s part of the package,
right?
So, try including a few of these things in
your family’s Holiday baskets this year to really boost their dental hygiene
game (especially if it’s been lacking as of late).
UV
toothbrush sanitizer
You may have never heard of this, but they’re
absolutely great gifts for anyone. Well, these can hold multiple toothbrushes
and will clean out virtually 100% of the bacteria and other stuff that find
themselves embedded in toothbrushes. These allow your toothbrushes to stay
clean so that your teeth are benefiting as much as they can from each daily
brush.
Electric
toothbrush
These are a great step up from the traditional
manual toothbrush. They clean your teeth a lot better, they last longer, and
you can really get to spots in your mouth that a typical toothbrush just don’t
allow for. As a bonus, there are subscription services out there that will send
new toothbrush heads when it’s time for newer, cleaner, stronger bristles.
Water
pick
If anyone in your family is struggling with
gingivitis, this will help to reverse the situation. They’re generally around
30 to 40 bucks, so while it’s a little more expensive, it’s definitely worth
the cost if it means getting rid of gum disease. Remember to try to fit it in
whoever’s Holiday basket you’re giving it to, though it may be a bit tougher
considering how big the appliance is.
So, after reading through this, think about
throwing in a few extra Holiday basket “stuffers” if it means benefitting your
family’s health. Candies are great for the kids, but since they’ll be eating
them as they open their gifts, this dental gear can help to clean up their
mouths after they’re done eating it all.
